Jeonnam Recruits Min Joon-young, DF 'Gunpil' After Completing His Active Military Service

Jeonnam Dragons recruited Min Joon-young, a "military-pil" defender who played for Hana Citizen in Daejeon.

After graduating from Eonnam High School-Dongguk University, Min Joon-young stepped onto the professional stage by joining Seongnam FC in 2017. However, he did not receive a chance to play, and did not play many matches for Gyeongnam FC and Asan Mugunghwa.

Then, he took the opportunity he received from the Ansan Greeners in 2020 and jumped to the starting lineup. Due to his performance in Ansan, he moved to Daejeon in the summer of 2021 and played a significant role as a housekeeper.

Min Joon-young, who was born in 1996, applied to the Korean Armed Forces athletic unit based on his performance in Daejeon, but failed. After receiving a military enlistment warrant while being judged as a first-class physical examination, he boldly decided to join the military on active duty.

After joining the military as an active-duty soldier, Min Joon-young gathered his vacation to return to the professional league and used it before he was discharged from the military, boosting his condition through individual workouts. Min Joon-young, who has been loved in Ansan and Daejeon for his high activity and clever play, is leaving Daejeon after being discharged from the military and dreaming of returning to the professional stage in South Jeolla Province. 토토사이트

"I have improved my physical condition as much as possible through individual sports, but I think I need to adapt quickly to the team so that I can compete at the professional level," Min Joon-young said, "I experienced promotion when I was in Daejeon, and I want to feel that again in Jeonnam. I will do my best to contribute to promoting Jeonnam to the K League 1."
